Mod for those Red Sea Berlin skimmers

Found this mod on a Spanish reef site and wanted to share with you guys, is from a fellow RC'er Juliovideo
I have a couple of those skimmers and might do it soon.

Pretty much the images show the mod, he's using an Eheim pump and see the mod to save on the space? nicely done.
I'll post the images here for reference.

I hava a couple of "Acrylic Cylinders" one used one new, might as well turn them into skimmers.
The only mod I did to one was to flush fit the pump to the inlet; those things use a lot of precious sump space the way they are designed but the pump under the skimmer I never thought of it.
Too bad lastduke sold his Eheim already, now to look for one.

I wonder how it works after that mod. If it work there may be a reason to keep mine. It sucks right now. If you mod one please keep use informed on how well it improves(it couldn't be worse)
