i have decided to upgrade to a 75 gallon tank and make it a reef tank...i picked one up from aquarium concepts about 3 weeks ago when they had their $1 over wholesale sale. And here it is:

The project has finally begun.... ;D

THE PLANS:
75 aga rr tank
custom stand and canopy
2 250w halide w/2 t5 super actinics
mag 7 return pump
20-29g sump
2 hydor koralia 4s

livestock:
~ 100 lbs of live rock
1 blue hippo tang
2 clarkii clowns
1 sailfin tang
1 humu trigger (trying to sell or trade)
1 snowflake eel (trying to sell or trade)
1 black ribbon eel (trying to sell or trade)

looking to purchase if anyone wants to get rid of them or are selling them:
big skimmer
electronic monitors
RO/DI unit
phosban reactor
calcium reactor
or anything else that can help with my build

I think the word cheeky could be applied to Phong.
He does say: "custom stand and canopy"

For me, if I plug in my own pump then it's DIY :)

To me custom is paying someone to do it. Homemade is DIY.. :D

Anyway I was just messing around.. Didn't you see the big ;D ?? hehehe

I don't always use smilies. Just assume that everything I say is not serious :)

Good point about the word "custom" where I come from it was usually implied you were customizing it yourself.

put together the top and bottom frames and the corner supports earlier this week and basically got the frame down...i was debating on if i should go BB or DSB for the tank but i think my flow would be too much for a SB...2 koralia 4s, 1 maxijet 1200 w/mod and mag 7 as return pump...wat route do you guys think i should go?

The outlet of the T is at the level of the skimmer cup? Probably will make the skimmer overflow.

i actually need to add another piece of pvc to the top of the tee...ended up running out of pvc piping so i left the top open until i can get some more
