my 90g setup

    thought id share some pics of my setup. it has been up since end of february.

    main display tank: 90g 48x18x24
    frag tank: 29g rimless 30x12x18
    main tank lights: dual 250w 20k XM with dual 110w vho super actinics
    frag tank lights: 150w phoenix
    fuge: 29g diy baffles dsb / rubble / live rock / chaeto
    quarantine tank: beater 29g acrylic
    skimmer: octo-150nw
    return pumps: quietone 4000 (main) and quietone 2200 (frag)
    flow: dual k3's / k4 (main) and k2 (frag)

    i'd show you a picture, but my gf's house got robbed couple days ago. my digital camera was one of the items stolen. i hate thieves!

    You gonna need a bigger tank when those corals grow out :)

    yea i know. in san diego, we have the "welcome to the 300 club." is there something like that in the bay area? ;)

    long story short: fighting insurance from car accident + working out of town + hot weather + malfunctioned chiller = lots of dead sps corals.

    majority of my sps are gone or nearly gone. my tank is empty. i transfered all the remaining live corals such as chalices and zoas to a friend's tank. my tank just has fish and rock and water. funny how everything just goes bad when u buy a mp40w as well.

    but life goes on, going lps and softie tank now for easier maintenance during my busy work hours and being away from the tank for long periods of time.

    Dang, sorry to hear that ninjon. I'd say I'd help you out, but I don't have frags of anything right now. I can fill your tank up with kenya tree though if you want.
