High Tide Aquatics

My home grown coral aquarium fully mature. Come see, come all.

@wfong Got a little question; perhaps there's more than one right answer. How or when would a reef aquarium be considered a mature system? Your piece of ocean looks like it has been there for a millennia.

Hi xcaret,

This answer is my personal opinion on SPS tanks. If your reef tank looks like it has more coral than water and with filled with large colonies of corals interweaving among each other for space, then I can say you have a fully mature reef tank.
Now with zoa and paly tanks is a different answer. I never seen a fully mature zoa and paly tank. Most of zoa and paly are not mature at all You can buy $$$$$ zoa/paly worth in one day and stage each one to look mature and it looks good.
