Why can't I have a tank made from transparent aluminum oxide yet?
Would that make your entire tank a slab of phosguard? :p Go big or go home, might as well go strait to a diamond tank!

Just got the wood went with 3/4 mahogany and thinking about a granite top

That sounds gorgeous, I eagerly await photos!

Here is a post where someone was asking about using granite on their stand. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1332749

Thanks everyone for the comments and thanks erick for the input on the granite top...that thread coupled with the pain in the @$$ of trying to locate a granite person the past few days is straying my original plan... Probably just go standard on the cab. On the upside robert from Neptune and I were talking and I think I am going to convert an oceanic illuminata into a sump/fuge what do you guys think?

I have an Elos, and it's ATO has been rock solid for me. Also have the ATO.com one and it worked great too (much cheaper, but also much bulkier). No first hand experience with the Tunze, but many are quite happy with that one too.
