Jumping on the bandwagon... I've been using Oyster Feast for a few weeks now and am truly amazed. Not only do all of my corals actively eat the stuff, but I am now seeing dramatic increased growth in SPS and LPS. My clam seems happier too!

Yeah, I didn't expect it, but OF is all I am feeding the tank right now and my clam seems happier.

Mine does when I first put it in the tank, but then opens right back up. Color seems improved since I started. Of course, maybe there is some other cause.

Could it be that the Oyster Feast is feeding something else which in turn feeds the clams?

maybe bacteria but they mainly eat phyto and only certain phyto at that.

Hey Gresh. I don't have clams. Just a mix of LPS and SPS. Should I use Oyster Feast or stay with Phyto Feast?

Phyto-Feast doesn't directly feed any SPS or LPS so Oyster-Feast would be a MUCh better choice, as would Roti-Feast. Phyto will feed the zooplankton and filter feeders and in return they may feed the corals but the corals themselves don't eat phyto (only a few softies can do that IME)
