Maybe I'm overthinking it, but can anyone recommend a small reef safe rubberband that won't leach anything, probably full silicone? Not sure if the standard latex rubber bands or hobby bracelet bands would work. Now I'm thinking a silicone o-ring, just need to find the right size.

I'm looking for something to wrap around the bottom of my frag plug stems after inserting into the frag rack. Sometimes they get knocked out from the high flow or urchin or fish, especially the larger top heavy frags. I'll be going on vacation for a week and don't want to have a frag laying face down in the sand when I return, which normally I would catch the next day.

I know, there are these silicone rubber-bands for pony tails, my girl uses those, clear silicone. don't know where my wife buys them but check Walgreen's, hair section.
Just wrap them around the frag plug bottom push it in the rack and fish will have a hard time knocking them off.
