replaced bulb, only to fry ballast

I finally got around to picking up more actinics. I race home and replace the first one, fire it up and it works. Do the same for the second, the GFCI trips and nothing happens :( Move wires around, try other ballasts/plugs and sure enough, it looks like I fried my ballast. I open the thing up, looks fine. I post this thread and think it's dead. Well, I just got a stupid idea that hmm, maybe it was switched off  So why am I posting this? Cuz I can't erase it and it shows, even after years of reefing, you can fall for the stupidest mistakes ever :p

After a decade of doing sound/lighting work, you'd think that would have been the first thing I did. I didn't turn that switch off though, it tripped on it's own.
