search function

Am I to gather that searches are not sorted by date, and instead by "relevancy", which I gather is how much a word is used in any given topic.

Is there a way I can search by date? Or can that be changed at all? Reason I ask is I wanted to find a thread that I posted in recently, and since it wasn't put in the proper forum I used the search, I searched for the word "sand", unfortunately all the "mega threads" came up first because that word was used most often in them (I'm guessing), which really doesn't help me as a search.

I don't think there's a way to do it currently. I agree that it would be a good feature to add.

Mike if you go into your account page and then to the track tab it shows all the threads you posted in. They are listed by newest to oldest. Maybe that would help
