Sensor Cleaning

Visidust sensor brush with a can of air.

Let me know if you need your sensor cleaned. I can bring it to the BACFM if that's the case.

can of air? I hope that's not the compressed air stuff, the chemicals will destroy sensors =X What kind of can of air do you have?

I use Sensor Swabs and rocket blower for my sensor.

Compressed air, but you're not blowing it into the sensor.

It's to charge the brush so that it picks up any particles on the sensor. You can also use a rocket blower to charge it.

Read more about it here:

No issues with sensors. I've used it a number of times on 5 different DSLR bodies over the years and haven't had an issue with any of them.

I guess this is something I will have to add to the "in the future you need to buy ...X" lol:D

This camera is too cool (30D)! It still takes some getting used to though.

i must have missed the thread where you announced your purchase!?

Congratulations Eileen! Wanna goto SF MOMA with me with that new toy? I can probably get you a frag of the... was it the yuma you wanted?

=)

I need to see what is going on that day, but is sounds fun.

I have sell off my film camera now <sigh>

Yeah, I've planning this since last year. :D The price just dipped exactly where I wanted it. I already have the rocket blower (from my film days) so at some point I need to pick up all the other accessories.
