I am down for a Maxcap am I better off just shelling out the extra cash for the 180 or will the 90 suffice for my now 72gallon tank?

The 90 might just do, but it still will depend on how patient you are. ;D

Eileen I would suggest you add an end date to the buy. I need money and order like 10 days before the meeting to make sure it comes in time.

Need help - I need new filters for my RO/DI unit. From what I've read in marinedepot about the unit, I need one of each:

24 gallon per day TFC membrane
    CF1M 1 micron sediment filter
CFCE solid block carbon pre filter
CFI high grade mixed bed deionization resin

Can I get this from the group buy? TIA.

Alvin - this will not replace the membrane

The ro/di you showed me is a four stage vs. five stage filtration unit.

The five stage filter has sediment, carbon block, carbon block, membrane, and di in that order.

Your four stage filter has sediment, carbon block, membrane, and di. This system might be okay for top-off, but take forever for a water change. It still takes my 100gpd unit eight hours to fill up a 35g Brute trash can (filled 3/4 of the way up and on cold days maybe 1/2 way up)

A five gallon container will take about two hours to fill.

Correct on the Kent ones....I haven't used the 1 micron carbon blocks yet, just the 10 and 5 so far.

Chris, I think you have to get the whole thing. You missed the SF Tour? We waited for you.
