Update!
Everything is looking great. I am now dosing 30ml of alk and 35 ml or calcium. I also added a trachy I got yesterday! The colors are awesome.

Dosed this morning so will see what my calcium level is tonight hopefully it starts to climb slowly.

Forgot to mention that I picked up a nice 4" frag of Cali tort this week. Hopefully it does well.

Alright I'm stumped. Here are today's test results.
Alk 11 dkh
Cal 340
Mag 1400

Alk keeps rising and cal seems to be not going up. I'm at 30ml of cal a day and nothing. I'm going to start doing 20ml of Alk and 50 ml of cal and see where that takes me.

All photos under heavy whites except for last one. Using underwater case for iPhone so don't judge my crappy pics lol.

Tank is looking great. I hope the doser helps out on getting the levels consistent.

You might want to raise Magnesium to help prevent calcium precipitation. I had a lot of buildup when I was manually dosing alk a few times a week. Local conditions where Alk is too high also tend to cause precipitation, which makes it hard to raise the calc up.

As of today, I'm dosing Alk (6ml) every hour and Calc every three hours (5ml). I'm using Kent calcium and dissolved baking soda (1tsp baking soda / 100ml).

Using the two part dosing I've had my Alk at 9dkh and Calc at 440ppm without any variation for a month or so now. Good luck!

Thanks man! It was nice meeting you and you're family! Thanks for the info as soon as I set it up I'll probably start to dose some mag and get it up higher.
Oh and btw your tank is amazing!

Calcium is up to 440 now and I had an algae bloom yesterday causing my tank to be cloudy for a day. It's weird how I get like a monthly algae bloom causing a cloudy tank but only lasts one day. Other than that things are growing like crazy!!!

So I went away on a short vacation for a few days and came back to a bunch of amazing growth! I had made a few frags before I left for vacation and they all seem to be doing great and growing! I have run out of calcium and need to get some asap and I also think I might dose less alk and to lower it to about 10 dkh. Pictures on Friday or Saturday since its back to 12 hour days!

Running low on calcium can cause Alk to spike, since coral stops using the combination of both.
So *temporarily* reduce Alk, but keep an eye on it, and remember the old setting.

Damn I knew I should have lowered it. I'm getting cal today so it only ran dry for 1.5ish days lol. Thanks for the heads up.

Alk is now at 11Dkh and my LPS look a lot better. I recently acquired a no name chalice that has a lot of potential, a wet nipple chalice, a rainbow looking favia and a orange yuma from CRC for my bday. Also for my bday I got a gopro and cant wait to take some good vids for you guys, oh yeah and someone stole my car as well(PD has now found it). Other than that everything has been growing great and I have a few frags I have been healing for two weeks now.
