In looking at the schedule of events, the next BOD meeting is to be held the same day as the Coral Farmers Market. Do we have any idea as to how we are going to accomplish this. This is a must-have meeting as the member frag swap takes place in March and we should be discussing this. Thanks All.

CFM runs from 11 AM - 5 PM. BOD members shouldn't have an issue getting to CFM after the meeting. There'll most likely be a decline in the general members showing up, but that's to be expected.

Also, not sure what's on the agenda, but possibly bumping the member frag swap to the first topic of discussion and table other items as needed.

There's no agenda for the members that show up to the cfm so we can hold the meeting on site during the event. Earlier is always better for me. So if we wanted to meet from like 12:00-1:00 to give people a chance to buy coral if they wanted to before and or after the meeting.

I second the 12:00 - 1:00 meeting time at cfm. I'm sure we'll be able to find a place to sit down and chat.

12 to 1pm is fine with me. The member frag swap is at the top of the list and is what we should be talking about. I won't bother with a formal agenda, but will try to take notes so we will all know what was said or discussed.

One other thing I thought of. Do we have enough volunteers to man the literature table at the market? I would be willing to work a couple of hours for the benefit of the club.

Since I don't plan to purchase any corals, I can be there for the duration. Always fun to talk with like-minded individuals.

I am not looking like I'm going to make this. Wife not feeling well and nap time is at 12...I may try to bring daughter w me and just leave by 12:30 and hope nap time starts on the ride home...
otherwise, main points of action from my perspective are: get @Flagg37 and @Corallus bod forum access.
Discuss members only swap for march 11. I already asked @patchin to look for a room for about 40 people.
I don't plan on advertising as this event is a reward for supporting members, not a tool to get people to become supporting members the day of the event. You can feel confident about putting nice frags into this swap and know they will likely spread around in the club, not just go to some random and disappear.
In the past we have done free admission, and free lunch. We can solicit donations from sponsors, including one time event sponsors. Not just the lfs. And sell raffle tickets as a way to break even for the room and lunch. We will need to post a thread asking for volunteer help and defining how we will handle the bonus round stuff. Seems like that's here to stay?
Also, we need someone to figure out how to change the events page so the members swap post will be shown, and someone to make said post.
