Theresa and I have Walked for the last six years because her mom had Alzheimer's for 18 years. She pasted away last Sept. 26th, five days before last years Walk. We will continue to walk until there's a cure.
We welcome any of you who would like to join the fight against this terrible disease. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is Sept 21st at Mission Creek Park (right behind AT&T Park) in San Francisco. You can walk either 1.5 or 3 miles. It's an inspirational, fun day. You can join our team, Saving Minds, @http://act.alz.org/goto/SavingMinds or donate to this awesome cause @http://act.alz.org/goto/StevePatchin.
If you know someone who has Alzheimer's, I'd love to hear your story. Or, if you want more info, PM me.
Thanks, Steve

Awesome, guys. Thank you. It'll be fun to walk with you Denzil. You can create your own URL for the Walk on the website for people to donate to. Will Brandie be joining us also?
John, thanks for the donation! There's also a Walk in Petaluma on Oct 19th, if you are interested. That might be the same day as BAP, though.
Anyone else want to join us?

Brandie would love to but it depends on her job situation. If there's a job opportunity or if she's held up for work, she'll have to choose that over charity at this point.

Makes sense, although she could signup and raise money, then, if she isn't able to walk, she's done something awesome to help find a cure.

Only 25 days until the Walk and I have a long way to go to reach my goal of $2000 to help End Alzheimer's. Please help, if you can, @http://act.alz.org//goto/StevePatchin.
