Back in the hobby with a gigantic tank holding Whale Sharks! Just kidding, I wish.

Finally fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit the Georgia Aquarium. Bad quality photo with a quick edit on Priime RAW for iPad app (

Holy! That's an aquarium? I've never heard of the Georgia Aquarium til now, but it's definitely going on my "places to visit" list.

I used to think the Cal Academy / Steinhart tank was big. But after a trip to Georgia Aquarium, the reef tank at Cal Academy looks like a pico tank ;)

    Georgia: 6.3 million gallons
    Cal Academy: 212 thousand gallons

Though of course, cal academy does have the second largest REEF tank. Someone build a 8 million gallon reef tank?

It's kind of funny that the Academy of Sciences tank is about 3% the size of the Georgia one and the Academy of Sciences is about 3% of the distance to the Georgia aquarium.

The Georgia Aquarium's Ocean Voyager tank is actually 6.3 million (the .3 is a large enough amount to be significant haha).

.3 is larger than the rich Ross tank. Wow.
