Which test kits do you find most accurate?

Precision also is important.

Some of the accurate kits are imprecise, which doesn't help much when you're trying to figure out dosing rates.

More of an issue for alk than Ca and Mg.

Pretty much you can use any of the popular ones for Ca and Mg and you'll be fine.

Elos and API are ok for trending alk, but I wouldn't use them for determining dosing rates.

Thanks Bryan,

I really looked for that for a while and couldnt find it.

I guess im just about a month late for the discussion. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction :)

I personally use api test kits for my alk, ca and ph but for my nitrate and phosphate I am using Instant Ocean test kits.

Instant Ocean kits are very accurate and are highly recommended.
I picked up 2 nitrate and phosphate kits on ebay for $28.50 shipped

using test kits for dosing isnt always perfect , but buying an actual monitor will be super accurate but pricey, I wish I had the cash for a nice controller :(
