WIBGI the BAR website had a wiki?

We have a lot of great random threads like
    - best way to deal with aptasia.
    - best way to dip corals.
And often people write up very nice summaries in the beginning of a long thread.
But then you have a ton of posts you need to wade through, and searching is difficult as best.
Then as the thread goes stale, it drops off the front pages, so you end up with another thread that says almost the same thing.

For collaborative efforts on solving a single problem, a wiki is really a far better tool than a forum thread.

Not sure how hard it would be to add a wiki. Probably a pain.

Best if read-all, but only modifiable by BAR members.

    Just a thought.

Downside is that in reefing, there are a LOT of different opinions on things, and might be hard to moderate wiki content.

In principle, it sounds like a good idea, but I don't think we can properly pull it off. THere are soo many good resources out there from experts that I think resource pooling would be far more useful/better/efficient than resource generating.

On technical topics, I tend to hit up places like Advanced Aquarist.

What I think BAR is good for, is if you want to start and maintain a discussion.

Or we could sticky the threads...
