Neptune Aquatics

Yep another new Wrasse

sadly I lost 2 due to freak accidents... and the other 2 I lined up never made it out of the LFS. The remaining one I have is super bright... and very curious.

Been awhile since I posted but here is my recent wrasse pick up. Madagascar and a pair of Tono wrasses

Karson has been bringing in great stuff.
Not sure if the pair is Tono.
Tono was really red when I had it.
Tono is from Indo

Wow love them. What’s the husbandry on wrasse?
Might get that 20 nuvo just for wrasse.
I like as simple as possible.

That's not an easy question. The wrasse family is the third largest fish family with over 600 species. They range in size from tiny to hundreds of pounds -- so husbandry is not one size fits all :). The only wrasses that I'd recommend for a 20 gallon would be the possum wrasses. While the fairly wrasses pictured above only get to 4-5 inches generally they are very active swimmers and a 20 gallon is just not big enough.

I wouldn’t any of these guys in anything less than a 100G. With your size tank Bruce hit it on the head. The Possum & Pink Streak Wrasse are the only ones that come to my mind for a 20G
