So I’ve been noticing that my calcium (350), magnesium (1170), and Alkalinity (6.4) have been drifting downwards more than normal. Once I noticed these numbers I started dosing B-IONIC to bring them back up.
Could this drift be that I need new media in my calcium reactor (Korallin)? or Could it be that when I set my bubble counter to one bubble to a count of 6, it will move to one bubble to a count of 10 on its own (equipment failure)? I ask because I have not been able to setup my calcium reactor to give me a reading of my calcium above 400, I was thinking with a reactor this should be easy to do.

Check the needle valve ? it's odd that the CO2 bubbles are not constant

If you have ample media you should be cool in that regard, do you monitor pH in your reactor chamber or effluent? Perhaps you need to calibrate your probe. If not as Mario said check your needle valve, they are unreliable.

If you have all of your ins and outs in check you may just need to crank it up (effluent/CO2) to keep up with calcification.

I'm smarter than some things, but maybe not this thing here because it has a battery" -Ricky
