Is there enough UV light in tanks that can give you cataracts? Or other health issues?

Just wondering?

Besides the poison from zoos or other fishes?

If there's a doctor in the house, please answer?

Do your fish have cataracts?
I'm not a doctor but If you don't stare directly at the bulb until it hurts. I think you will be OK.

With shielded glass, I can't imagine doing any more harm then equivalent outdoor exposure to the sun. This concern (if it is one) only applies to MH.

It's not an issue with MH, they don't supply anywhere near what the sun does, even our sun here in the Bay Area.
