As you all know tables and chairs do not move around and set themselves up, that means BAR needs help from its membership to make the swap run as smooth as possible. Keep in mind with more help we can all get home in time to not get yelled at
. Also, for people that are newer to the club this is a great time to get to know fellow members and I'm willing to bet you'll be :lol:ing at some of the characters we have for members
Most important are setup, check in, and breakdown.
We'll need ~10 people for setup/check in starting at 10:00 edit: I'll be arriving at 9:00, with that many people at that time, things should move quickly and efficiently, we don't want to burn anyone out.
Obviously there will be plenty of people around to police the picking groups and answer questions during the swap so I'm not too concerned about that period.
What I am concerned about is breakdown, with so many people anxious to get their corals home and acclimated people tend to bail and a small group does the bulk of the work. I for one have to leave at a specific time to get to a gig in HMB, allowing time to acclimate and dip my corals as well, so in reality I won't be around for much of the breakdown if I want to keep my job as a bass player (which I do want to keep).
For breakdown I'm looking for 10+ people who are willing to stick around and move tables and chairs, pickup etc. Remember "many hands make for light work" if BAR members work together we can have the event wrapped up in a timely fashion. I'm sure that most of you need to get your butts home and spend time with your significant other, so lets make that happen ;D.
If you want to help out post here and LMK what time you are available. Thanks!!!
Due to the time change I've moved the setup time back to 9:00 if it is any inconvenience LMK we have plenty of help so don't sweat it
