Classic Christmas Favia. I'd recommend low level mh or high level fluorescent lighting, med. flow and lots of zooplankton. Mainly a night feeder and watch out for nighttime sweeper tentacles.

The tentacles on the polyps will only extend about 1/4" above the skeleton. Seems happy with Arctipods.
Hmm. Have tried feeding with cyclopeeze and mysis, no response to either. Does this thing open for you only at night? I ask this because it's in my office tank, and it would be impractical (ie girlfriend will kill me) for me to feed this during nighttime, at least on a regular basis. All of my LPS, including the acanthastrea I picked up at the swap (Thanks BAR!!!) will eat with the lights on.
Darn...I'll just have to program my lights to come on a little after I open up, I guess. Thanks for the help bookfish!

In case you haven't guessed, I'm updating pictures of all the BAR corals I grabbed, it's only been a couple weeks I know, but still

Plenty of it to go around at the swap. Here's mine.
Aha! I saw this guy waving some tentacles today during feeding, and definitely ate. Has been coloring up some and healing up nicely. Tentacles are indeed very short. No worries about him anymore.
mine is doing fine with high halide lights, the color is bright red and bright green. I think it will be even brighter with lower lights so I will move it down a bit
Having trouble feeding this guy too. Have not observed any sweepers or feeding tentacles.
