FFS... was starting a project to try to breed some ruby reds... turns out the male ruby is hooking up with the female mandarin and beating up the other female rubies

Lost 2 ruby girls already before I saw him get vicious with another. At first I thought it was the hermits so pulled them out...and still had ruby girls disappear. One between 9A and 10A today... grrr...

I've kept rubies before and mandarins this is the first I have ever seen this behavior. Now it these two oddballs spawn, then I will feel less pissed.

Still pissed that I lost 2 girls... they are hard to come by. I was originally going to put the girls in the tank with my other 2 males but figured a harem for 1 Male would work better... who knew he had decided to hang with the blue mandarin. Sigh
