There's Keith Grandt in Sacramento. I've never seen one of his tanks in person, but people seem to really like the work he does.

Granite is also a very good conductor (which is why it feels cold when you touch it). It actually sucks the heat out of you so to speak. Not sure what affects it would have on tank temp., just throwing it out there.

Just throwing this out there, if you do decide to use the bucket. Mark the water level (on the outside of the bucket, with a sharpie or tape) so you can monitor evaporation and top off as needed. Hope all goes well.

I have one RBTA for DBTC. Pick a # 1-10. Rules: First split must be returned to DBTC before selling/trading. If I should happen to lose mine, I jump to the top of the list for next split. Sorry about my bad camera/photo skills. First pic is with flash, second without.

Damn, you're old skool too! I used to ride a Burton-air with Sorels (aka ankle breakers). I've upgraded gear since then and still go almost every weekend. I'll be leaving Friday for some of this new snow=).
