Hi guys! I am a new member here. Had a 135gallon reef in NYC but sold it all off when I moved here 2 years ago. Now I'm planning to rejoin the hobby.

Here's my question: Is a 180 gallon tank good for a reef?
The dimensions are: 29 1/2H x 73L x 25D
It has one large overflow on the left side of the tank.

thanks! -Doug

thanks guys! Boy that was quick too! You're right about the tank dimensions, those don't fit with a 180 tank. I will ask the seller about that.

Most 180s are 72 x 24 x 24. If it's 29" H you probably have a 210 which is even better but you need long arms to reach the bottom.

72x24x24 is the typical standard sized 180. My 180 is custom and it is 60Lx24"deepx 28" tall something like that to equal 180G I am sure about the length. I agree though the dimensions you are stating seem more like a 210ish size tank.
