Previous use: sodium bisulfite for purification of ship ballast.

Rinses clean, reef safe in my experience.

Comes in blue or black, with bungs.

    Pickup in sf mission.

Do lids come off at all? Or is the only access through the bung hole?

Thinking of downgrading from my 100G poly container because it's just too wide.

Lids do not come off of these, but they retain shape if you cut off the lid.

I think you can use a jig saw and try to cut the perimeter of the lid part; they seem to be "welded" to the rest of the barrel; it's on my "to do" list...

I have some old white barrels that are the same design, I used a circular saw to cut them right below the rim.

They've cut a bunch open at my job to store chain and scrap metal, they cut the top right inside the rim.

    Either seems to work.

I've been using my white barrels since 2003. No problems yet.

Holy Cow! Everyone wants a photo!

They are in fact plastic barrels. Hooray! I can confirm that the world is also sideways in real life. My neck hurts.

No, I don't have any photos of the black ones, I like the color blue. There are some available in black though.

Better watch out, homeland or the DEA may raid your place now. Looks like something out of Breaking Bad and neighbors are sure to call :D

The blue lights match the blue barrels.

I'm more concerned what my landlord thinks.
