I got this birdsnest back in November 2016 as a one inch frag, and it was growing pretty nicely until my problem with Dino's began 2 months later. I thought it died, so I threw it in my sump/refugium, which has a 24/7 desk lamp for lighting. Today I found this

. It's definitely grown a TON since I got it, and that too with my crappy refugium lighting which can't even keep chaeto alive. We'll see how much is alive when my tank lights go on today. I'm excited...

You guys might be right, but it's grown a lot since I threw it in the fuge. I see little brown looking dots though which might be polyps.

Well those brown dots appear to have gotten bigger since the lights went on. Considering that it's been in a poorly lit, almost 0 flow environment for over a year I wouldnt expect any of the color to remain at this point. I know it was alive for a significant amount of time after going in the fuge seeing how big it got, now I'll see in another month or two if it'll start looking like a birdsnest again.
