Look at my anemone? He has some powdery white stuff at base of tentacles

It says content not found. Try uploading the picture as an attachment or to tinypic.com. Does the powdery white stuff look stringy at all? It may be rips at the bases of the tentacles, in which case you would need to let him heal and probably not feed him until the damage is repaired. If the stuff is just stripes of white on the tissue, then that may just be coloration.
 
Just coloration. The anemone is fine. That coloration is considered by some people to be one of the more beautiful color patterns. I have a 3" GBTA like that. :)
 
Matthew IMO with a half dozen + threads you have in the past couple months re: the ill fate of your anemones I think you really should ask questions and listen, rather then give advice.
 
It seems as though it is a matter of coloration, that's all. I've seen a handful (okay, maybe a little more than that :) ) with the same characteristic white splotches.
