Hey, so I'm thinking about encrusting the back wall of my tank with coral, what would be a good type to place there?

Gsp has been used a lot successfully but I wouldn’t use it myself for fear that it would spread and get out of control.

Do you have wallpaper in your home?

I thought about that too, but didn't want to have to remove it later when it grows wild.

Currently I have two war corals (I think that was the name) that I got from mark and glued on the back wall hoping they would encrust and spread.

    No to wallpaper.

I have zoas growing on my back glass. And yes, we gave you 2 different war corals.
    Cheers!

Growing coral on the back wall always makes me think of wallpaper.

We have sunset and mystic monti on our back wall. As well as some zoa.

The zoas haven't really grown/spread out. Matt glued a few different types on, but none have really taken off yet.

Tell him to try Mohawks. Those things are almost as bad as gsp.

Not a great photo, but you can see the mystic monti has grown out the most of the various things attached to our back wall.

The lepto seems like it would be a good choice for it but it doesn’t look like it’s done anything. Have you tried a cyphestria?
