Brain question

Trachyphyllia stopped inflating. Ideas?

It was inflating normally for a few weeks. One day a frag fell on it and it super inflated, maybe to the size of a cantaloupe. The days following, shrunken way down. Tissue doesn't look to be receding but it's definitely not inflating. It's been 3-4 days in this shrunken state.

All parameters in this tank were 'ok' except nitrates were detectable at (iirc) 50 ppm and high-ish temp ~80-82*.

temp issue IMO as that is what mine do when mine hit that temp in the past.

G - thanks. Though, the brain inflated just fine before with approx. same temp.

80* is normal in this tank. It's a smaller tank and I've been having a hard time getting the temp under control. Got some new equipment coming in this week so I'm hoping it helps.

Mine was fine for a day at 86 degrees when the heater broke. Damn heater. Anyway, temp didn't seem to affect it at all. Maybe it is just releasing from its manus?

It's gonna be 96 today in the city Con, I'm sure that won't help your temp situation :)

Hmm...temp is still 80, even on a day like today when it's 90 outside. Brain did open though. I guess the water change really helped :D
