Cleaning water containers?

Does anybody ever clean their 5 gallon water jugs? If so how?

I use kimchi vinegar. It's 30% rather then 5%. I get it at Pusan Plaza in Oakland.

To be honest I only clean like once a year for my top off containers and quarterly with my SW mixing tank.
