So what coral food works well in a simple auto feeder???

It seems most of the good stuff is a pretty fine powder.
Binds up and does not seem to work so well in an auto feeder.
The only pellet like food I have seen is some LPS food from Fauna Marin

No idea if that is any good.

Ideally, you have a pellet or flake that works well in a feeder, but
dissolves quickly into the finer size needed for coral feeding.

Or is there a specific auto feeder that works well with powders?

freeze dried cyclopeeze mixed with the tiny fish food pellets works in my autofeeder for weeks. which auto-feeder do you have?

(CE) Too large of particle size for most SPS

Thought about it, but sure seems like a pain.
Plus without somehow shaking the bottles, seems like it might not work so great.

Shaking the bottles? Talk to those that do it, they'll explain better ;)

I take my pellet food and put into a zip-lock bag and put in some reef chilli and mix it together so that when it drops into the water the reef chilli dispersed into the tank and then I put that into my auto feeder

Neptune has their own branded food and it is a 1.7 mm pellets with a coral powder mixed in...

Excellent fish food. I designed it :) Keep your eyes peeled on this one...

Coral Frenzy has pellets

Its not the same as their normal legacy product. Its a re-branded fish pellet.

Whole wheat flour, soy meal and wheat gluten are before fish oil. They are fillers, not binders. There is no need for that filler in coral feeds. If used as binders, not a big deal.. but used as fillers means they are a larger portion of the G.A. and used as a source of nutrition.
