Purple - this one is not from the BAR Workshop, its the big one in my tank.

I have one of these as well which I would consider fraging off a small piece but, I am wondering exactly how and where to frag it (I don't want to hurt the mother).

I was thinking that I could frag one of the branches (simlarly to how one would cut a tree branch), does this sound correct?

I just cut mine with clippers, didn't hurt the mother colony.

After you frag, trim the fleshy part off the last 1/4 inch of the cut end.

Leave the gorgonin skeleton so you can glue it inside a rock or whatever.
