I have the following gorgonian..

It's doing quite well extending polyps and putting on growth. However, it's not branching and growing straight up. I'll be fragging some of the stalks to place around the tank, but I'll want them to branch as well (you know....get that sea fan look). Can you just cut the top it like a plant? Or do the branches come out of the side lower down on the main stalk?
