Help debugging PMUP

This is a strange one…

I have a pmup connected to my carbon reactor. Turns out it hasn’t been running for a while… it used to work but was loud. Eventually the sound stopped so I assumed it “broke in” and never really checked… till today.

Debugging step 1:
Unplug from dc24 and plug it back in. At this point there was a constant on/off click sound from the eb832 so I turned it off.

Debugging step 2:
Plugged the pmup into the dc24 on my FMM.. yes the power adapter is hooked up to the FMM. Again, it doesn’t run.

Debugging step 3:
Grab a spare pmup. Plugged it into the FMM and again it didn’t work. Huh?

So do I have 2 broken pmups? Anyone have any other ideas of stuff I can try?

To clarify: when testing I manually switch the output to “on” and didn’t rely on “auto” kicking in

Have a volt meter, check the 24v output.
Have a way to wire power Brick right to the pmup?
I didn't try a volt meter but I plugged the PMUPs into various dc24 ports: 2 different ports on 2 different EB832s and on an FMM.

I actually have a PMUP that works running my ATO - its loud; I'd hate having that on for more than a few seconds at a time. I think im just gonna find/get a Sicce to run the carbon reactor & give up on troubleshooting.
