Just picked this up at OT aquarium
The mother colony there is awesome IMO

I fragged this over the weekend and the 1'' frag broke off with no eye.
I was trying to crack it a certain way (super rock hard skeleton) and it broke without an eye.
It has been a couple of days and both frags seem normal. Does it need an eye to survive?
I will keep an eye on it. :D
 
I think it's too new to have a common name other than Lithophyllion, there a few different ones if you do a google search. If it acts like a fungia, I think it should develop a mouth after awhile.
 
1 more frag available. smaller than the one for Jeremy.
Basically some chips that broke off when I was fragging so I glued them to a plug and they became one again, this thing is hearty.

BTW the first one I fragged formed a eye/mouth in around two weeks.
