Oh boy, so many questions :)

Do any of you have a battery grip for your dslr?
If you do, do you leave it on at all times? Or only when you know you'll be needing "that much" juice?

And, where can I get my camera [sensor] cleaned? I don't need to do it quite yet, but I want to know for future reference. If they're located in SF that is a plus. How much should I be looking to spend?

1) Yes for D200. D2X has a built in grip.
2) Depends. If I'm shaving weight then it stays off. Otherwise, it's on there 99% of the time. It's not only for the juice, but for the portrait shooting orientation.
3) Local camera store can clean the sensor for you if you don't have a cleaner or don't want to deal with it. Check w/Calumet. You're looking at ~$20.

Cleaning is a pretty in and out thing? Or does it normally require an appointment, and/or them holding it over night?
I just got a new bag for my camera, and unfortunately it may or may not accommodate my camera with the battery grip on (the bag should be arriving late this week). If it does not fit the body with the grip, then the grip has to come off ... mainly because my current camera bag is just a bit big for my liking, and not very conspicuous with the CANON logo on it.

Ooh $20 is a good price for sensor cleaning. I know pro camera on minnesotta charges $50-60 I think. Just the swab costs $5 hahahahah.. I like the BG because it helps with balance on some of the heavier lenses.. My 24-70 is pretty dang heavy for what it is.. My cameras bg is built in so no other option really..

Wow ... is Calumet a fairly reputable place to get a sensor cleaning? - there is a significant difference between $20 and $50-60. I definitely want to be sure when the time comes for it to get done, it gets done correctly.
I definitely like the battery grip as well. I have a 400D, so my grip is removable. It is very handy when shooting portrait shots, and for balance purposes when using a heavier lens. Hopefully the body and grip both fit into my new bag.
Do you all carry your external flash in your "every-day" shooting bag?
Sorry for all the questions!

Usually, the added weight is a bonus. It helps balance the lens for more stable shooting.
