setting up a new tank

I am new the Bay Area and am interested in setting up a reef tank. My last tank was 120 gallons and ran from 1999 to 2008. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can go to get good advice regarding the set up and regarding where to purchase hardware?

There are quite a few places to go to for advice and goods. It's really just a matter of where you're located and how far you're willing to drive.

I would suggest paying for the BAR membership for the year so you can get access to our buy/sell/trade forums. You may be able to score some solid goods at a discounted price. Other than that, welcome to BAR!
