Let me know if you're interested in having a little tide pooling trip to see some cold water tide pool ecosystems and their inhabitants.

They're adapted to the changing tides. Look at all the little gravel/sand bits attached to the anemone.

    Don't step on the nems!

What ya looking at these pictures for!? You need to frag some corals and get PUMPED for the Regional Frag Swap!

    Here's another location to consider

I do this from time to time, grab my camera gear & tripod to head to the beach seeking adventure and great shots of sunsets :D

I believe Fitzgerald marine reserve and Moss beach are the same location.

I could have swore there were 2 near half moon bay or am I confusing the spots further south w/ half moon bay? this is what happens when I post before my morning coffee

I have another list somewhere that covers the whole coast, but I want to say there are a couple more towards santa cruz & big sur (that's where the photo above is from).

Moss Beach is the name of the city/town, Fitzgerald is in Moss Beach. And yes it is near Half Moon Bay, just north of it actually.

    Absolutely stunning pics fidel!

Yeah Fitzgerald is the name of the Reserve but it's in the small town of Moss beach near Half moon bay.

If you go on the weekend.........it's kinda annoyingly packed with people.

But if you're into tidepooling, you're focused on the pools and not the people.
