Neptune Aquatics

Who can relate to this YouTube video about reef keeping?

high nutrients and high par is the next level. i told you so.
Hghi PAR is the past. High DLI is my bet as it is a logical leap from PH Managment. Lower lights on longer to smooth PH swings. Plus, all the LED manufactures need an excuse to sell you new lights now with more spread and higher CRI, but less PAR.

willing to bet Gen 6 Radion will be more like the Neptune Sky with better CRI.

Great video.

I have seen so many people go away in frustration for the same reason.
- They get a new tank.
- They mess with it like crazy.
- They put in high end corals right away.
- And it all dies under a big blanket of Cyano ....

It is not like I was any better.
The only different between them and me .... I did not go away after all that happened.

And it still happens. Having troubles again with certain corals dying off.
Oh well... either I will solve it ... or it will solve itself.

At least everyone kills a tank full of frags now vs a tank full of mini colonies, except the frags are the same price....
Worse, those mini colonies required more of your time, more water changes, more electricity, and maybe better equipment you sprung for because you feel like you're off to the races...

but I guess you could argue those mini colonies may prevent you from getting new frags too, so it may all balance out in the end.
