Wrasse Choice for a 40 Breeder / Where to buy a pink streaked wrasse?

Hi all, I currently am overwhelmed by the amount of wrasses to chose from to replace my returned to the LFS 6 line. I'm reading varying reports on R2R on what's ethical in a 40B.
I really like rainbow wrasses and that's what drew me to the six line. Single color wrasses like the Yellow Coris just don't really float my boat. Pinked streaked seem like a decent choice but they're the opposite of hardy. I like the look of the mccosker's flasher wrasse.
Based on my googling one forum says get a fairy wrasse, the next says get a flasher wrasse, I'm just so confused on this.
What are some 3+ color wrasses that can ethically go in a 40B peaceful community mixed reef?

Yah, I wasn't successful the other wrasses unit I got a larger tank. Even the smaller ones in the 40 gal can be jerks. Maybe just try again in a year when your fish get bigger and can bully back. A court jester goby kinda looks like a wrasse and swim around through the rocks kinda like a wrasse, just slower...

I think my only option is a pink streaked after your feedback. I have no idea how to buy one.

I had a trio of them
Awesome fish if you can find them
How though?

Someone on R2R replied with
"Pseudocheilinops ataenia (Pink Streak Wrasse)
Paracheilinus filamentosus
Paracheilinus carpenteri
Paracheilinus mccoskeri
Macropharyngodon spp. (If tank is mature and you can find a healthy specimen)
Cirrhilabrus lubbocki
Halichoeres chrysus
Halichoeres leucoxanthus
Halichoeres iridis
Halichoeres timorensis
Halichoeres biocellatus"
Some of these get up to 6 inches. Should I believe them? I'd love a McCosker's Wrasse.

Of these the only less than 4 inch choices than I like in decreasing size order are red lined wrasse, filamented flasher wrasse, carpenter flasher, and mccosker's flasher.

IMO
Stay away from the flasher wrasses you tank is too shallow
And they are of no benefit to your tank...they don’t eat pests
You could do a trio of the yellow halichoeres if you can find 1” specimens
Look into the wetmorella group of wrasses
Also the hogfish family are good too

I've been looking for a pink streaked for 8 months now. I heard that they show up now and then on Divers Den: https://www.liveaquaria.com/divers-den.
I finally went with a Melanurus Wrasse and love her but I have a 55 gallon. Very colorful, very active and so far has gotten along very well with the other inhabitants.https://www.liveaquaria.com/product/2285/?pcatid=2285

After feedback from the wrasse lovers thread and here, the only ethical 40 gallon wrasses are pink streaked, 6 line and possum wrasses.
I’ll attempt to get one but I’m not hopeful.
