14G nano reef - floating rocks...

As of today: Zoa is happy so far. GSP is green but not much growing. Red monti frags still dying. This reef keeping thing is just hard. Could never keep all coral happy.

    DBTC: Red Montipora

I just added Red Montipora to DBTC. There are 20 frag(s) available right now. This thread was automatically created by BARcode

14G nano reef - floating rocks...

Yes, it is doing ~10G daily. Simple pvc plumbing is impossible because tank is in another room. It could be tricky to run the tubings and program the DOS and avoid the siphoning effect. If 2 pumps on DOS do not pump exactly the same amount, overflow will happen, or ATO kicks in and bring down...

14G nano reef - floating rocks...

4 months and the tank is not doing any better. Even the ugly phase was over no more hair algae (and the coralline algae is actually beginning to come out) but green star polyps still could not survive. It is because I was too lazy to do water change. The chaeto did not grow either. Instead it...

    Sea hare

I could use a sea hare.... I am in Union City. Can sea hare survive eating chaeto? I have a refugium full of chaeto and liverock (algae on it). I can keep it there after it is done cleaning my new 3rd tank in ugly phase.

Could use a sea hare for couple weeks for my ugly phase - too much hair algae.

Thanks. I will go to that thread to ask. I searched and could not find that. Please close or delete this if necessary. Thanks.

Good quality. Once the speed is set, I ignored it. I bumped into it while cleaning the glass and it popped off from the rubber mount easily.

Ugly phase is over. I just threw in some GSP to see if it will grow.

Anyone in the Bay Area can fix glass fish tank? My 65G has developed a seam leak.

Now looking for a 36" L by 24" W (front to back) by 24" to 32" H. 3-hole overflow at back right corner. Euro-braced would be ideal. Let me know if u have one available. (I figured I can drill more holes on the countertop to make plumbing possible.)

Anyone in the Bay Area can fix glass fish tank? My 65G has developed a seam leak.

Actually this truvu would be perfect but it takes 6-7 weeks to get delivered. Mine is a 65G and already too small for the 10" porcupine puffer and 6" stars+stripes puffer. No matter how often I change water, nitrate still high. I can't keep them in a 40G breeder. The wet bar has 24" width...

Anyone in the Bay Area can fix glass fish tank? My 65G has developed a seam leak.

Yes, I am not the first owner and when I bought it few years back, it was already old looking. It is an odd size but it perfectly fits my space. I will try to DIY this weekend. I will try to document the process to share here. If I fail, it will be one less tank to maintain. With this hobby, u...

Been looking for a 36L by (15 to 18)W by (28 - 32)H tank. If u have one, I am interested. New one is 5-6 weeks wait as it has to be a custom made for fitment.
