We had a great time at CFM last night! I brought my kids and they had so much fun picking out coral and collecting stickers ;) We got a few zoas, a really unique mushroom, my 5th grade daughter found a rock flower anemone that she named bluey and my 7th grader found a really cool yellow...

Yeah time to fire up the second protein skimmer ….

Oh the new tank is really coming along! I’ll try to get some good pics, although gads it is so big all the coral frags look so tiny. All the custom paneling to enclose the stand and button it all up should be delivered in four to six weeks.

Not the final rock work, but coming along! Coral should start to go in in about a week. Lighting wise running 10 A360s. Still waiting on all the cabinetry and wanescoating. Will eventually be enclosed on the top and bottom so the only way to see between the rooms is through the tank.

Plumbing done and fully connected into the existing system! Yesterday Ansel and Robert (but mostly Ansel) loaded in 1,000 lbs of sand and rock.

For the lighting are you going to create a chase in the wall to conceal the cables? Or add the electrical above the tank and go with an enclosed hood?

Stand installed, electrical done, plumbing stubbed out. Just waiting on the Sheetrock crew to patch everything up then we’ll move in big Bertha
