after a bunch of research I ended up using a silicon tube for drain that sits inside chamber. Then hard plumed the rest. For now using home depot valve. I ordered the 1 1/4” Spears Gate Valve which i will swap. Also reduced it to run 1 inch pvc, plan is to have a reef Matt which...

Thank you, I looked into this thread. does not say what he bought. I think I can hard-line like psidriven said, but not sure how noisy it would be. Since it will be a straight line when the water drains. nothing really to control water coming down.

The hole has the return and drain. Yes back side of aquarium. This is all on the right side of the aquarium. I am not sure if the bottom was modified or the part where a 90 barb fitting was there. But this is what i am working with now.

No other end connection its straight open. Its like a ext style but inside tank.

Instead of the spa flex. Use pvc pipes with agate valve. Since the size is biger then the common drain size pipes.

Hi, I am curious what my options are as I am setting up a tank, the return has a Polyethylene Flexible Spa Hose. And it is hard to work with in the sump. I am unsure of the dimensions but the most common are 1-1/2-in Inner can I plum this into PVC pipes with a gate valve?

I have heard good things about the IM 75 EXT, or INT. Just a heads up with IM, lead time is around two months.
