    EXPANSION

Nah…if anything, one of my biggest reasons in this project is to expand my saltwater/reef side of the shop. However, in order to do that I need to expand the FW side first so it’s going to be a win-win for both my FW and SW customers! I know right now the SW has been somewhat been put on cruise...

This whole project is not moving fast enough for me. Sorry. Getting old! LOL. But, I did managed to get lots of small stuff done since the last update. All the plumbing and lighting system (30 AI Blades managed via the Apex) for the 29G racks are done! New betta rack are also installed along...

    Custom 180G Cantilevered Reef System

Work in progress. We’re slowing add corals and fish to the system. Couple tangs from the smaller 180 cantilevers will need to be moved over to the larger tank because they are nipping on the corals in there. That’s why we’ve been holding back on adding corals until the move is done. The larger...

    Custom 180G Cantilevered Reef System

The Abyzz A400 pump is a very capable and professional pump. I chose that because I didn’t have to worry about how many 90’s are being used. The total volume of both tanks, sump, and frag tank came out to about 650 gallons. With the Abyzz return pump running at only about 75% power to achieve...

Hanging lights way above the tank seems to be the new trend right now. I really dig the clean and uncluttered look above the tank. The betta version of W500N Tuna Blue’s I have in the shop are still going strong. They are running at about 20% only though. That’s how strong they are, even 4ft...

Ian…I have the W500BD (barn door). They are mounted about 6ft above the water line. Probably going to run them at about 30% intensity only though. W500BD = $1150 (light and power supply) W360BD = $805 (light and power supply) Track and DMX controller still needs to be purchased separately...

I have four 20” roof turbines, three industrial dehumidifiers, and one turbo exhaust fan. I can keep humidity under 70% even in the most humid days. 98% of the days, it’s under RH 60%.
