This is the beginning on my Reef Journal...
I live in Cupertino... Been reefing for over 25 years now.
Started with Fish Tanks only back in 93 and expanded to Reefing after that. I've always had a fish/reef tank since then but of course just like anyone had highs a many many lows! Too many crashes and losses to count.
in the past 8 years, I had a major crash which practically killed off all my Fish and Corals due to power outage while away on vacation. Learned many lessons... Ran my tanks on life support for a couple of years, and during COVID decided to kick start the hobby again. So I started fresh, Cleaned my rocks and tank after a Bleach deep clean...
Started in 2/2020...
And had another crash of some sort 5 months later... Biological problem which Dino took over and during treatment killed most of my corals (had a few major pieces saved by taking them to a friend's tank). And started again in August 2020.
