Angels

I have had good luck with Swallowtail angel, bicolor angel, flame angel, and coral beauty angel.
Although I think the Bicolor does pick at things occasionally.
Swallowtail and Flame passed away long ago.

None of which are really "big" though.

Ha when I started reading that. I thought it was all together! Was going to be shocked

The swallowtail, bicolor, and coral beauty were all together.
I do have a 240 G tank though...

Coral Beauty is my oldest fish. I think going on 12 years now.

Dang! That is one old fish, heading off to high school soon.

Kept dwarfs in a soft reef before, Flame, Bicolor and Coral Beauty (all at the same time) in a 120G but never the larger ones... they just get too large.

Quick advice:
Obviously a large tank is key.
But more so is having quite a bit of already well established coral.
Something that can take some occasionally nipping and not care.

I'll agree with that, my softy tank was pretty much a "weed tank" where things grew faster than what others could potentially eat them... although early on I did toss in a couple open brains... one was constantly nipped at by the flame, the other didn't touch at all.
