Black foot trochus snails

Yesterday morning and again this morning I witnessed my trochus snails spawning
Releasing fresh gametes into the system

Has anyone else seen the same in the past day or so
Is the event stimulated by moon, water chemistry, or something else

Mine do this every once a while. I can say for sure it’s not related to temp change or new water. Moon phases?

I keep hoping to see smalls show up so I don't have to re-up with my dealer. I am getting itchy though, so might grab some from Kenny next visit.

Love black foot trochus since they reproduce nicely in my little nano. Just got several babies on the glass again. I never pay attention to the moon, but water chemistry changes, increased temperature, heavy feeding could be correlated as per my memories.
