1) cool to look at but nothing terribly special. Likely just a DPSS laser.
2) There is a reason that they use a big lens and shot distance shots
3) it won't go through a silver mirror but would through a dielectric mirror with a different center frequency. It could in principle burn away the metal film if you are focused on it.
4) The megawatt rating isn't as impressive as it sounds
5) the military wouldn't want anything like this. It's actually really shitty for anything remotely military.
