Frogspawn Help

Hello BAR,
Yesterday I did a water change and my frogspawn has really closed up ever since. It typically doesn’t tend to do this after I do one so could i be caused by the worm thing (I don’t remember what it’s called) that’s attached to it?

That’s a vermetid snail, and I doubt thats the reason.
Check your alk, SG phosphates etc
Kinda looks like a hammer to me btw

If the water you added was cold enough to drop the temperature in the tank in a “drastic” way, it might have added to that.
Try to get rid of those vermetid snails, they tend to get out of control

Water change, the leading cause of coral death haha. In all seriousness a water change can be bad if not done correctly and to the exact parameters of the tank. I don’t think it may kill anything but would certainly piss some things off if day your alk is 9 and the water change is 11.5

When whenever I do a water change I always test the tank water and new saltwater. If something is low in the new salt water I will correct it to bring it in range of the tank. I have two tanks so I’m doing 3 test of Salinity, Ca, Alk, Mag, PH, temp.
